ANDIE THERIO
From Beauharnois, Andie Therio has been passionate about music since a very young age. At the age of 13, she received her first guitar, marking the beginning of her first compositions. Influenced by country, pop-rock, and folk, she draws inspiration from her personal experiences. A self-taught singer-songwriter, Andie unveiled her debut EP titled She’s Good in the summer of 2022. This first album, entirely self-composed, allowed her career to rapidly flourish, leading her to form connections with Disques Far West and Agence Ranch. The past two years have been eventful for the artist, as she performed as the opening act for artists like Francis Degrandpré, Phil G. Smith, and Roch Voisine. In addition, she presented her own shows on renowned stages, including the Festival Country Lotbnière, the Festival Lasso Montréal and the Festival Western de St-Tite. Currently, Andie is preparing for the release of her album Back to You, a heartfelt project where she allowed herself to revisit and fulfill her childhood dreams. Set for November 2023, the 7-song album includes tracks like Back to You and Golden Wings, which were revealed earlier this year. In parallel with her own musical project, Andie is also part of the collective project Grande Ourse, bringing together 7 emerging country artists whose album of 10 original compositions is set to be released in September 2023. Fall has been just as busy for Andie as she opened for Brittany Kennell and is getting ready to launch her album on November 21st at the Cabaret Lion d’Or in Montreal.
